Plan of Salvation

Do you have questions about salvation? The Bible provides clear answers. Salvation is a gift from God through His Son, Jesus Christ. Because we are sinners, we cannot save ourselves. Romans 6:23 says, “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

What Is Salvation?

Salvation means to be rescued or delivered from the power and penalty of sin. Jesus Christ paid the penalty for our sins by dying on the cross and rising again. When you accept His payment by faith, God forgives your sins and grants you eternal life.

Why Do I Need Salvation?

Every person has sinned and falls short of God’s standard (Romans 3:23). The penalty of sin is death and eternal separation from God. Without salvation we face judgment. But God offers forgiveness and new life through Jesus Christ.

Who Can Give Salvation?

Only God can save. He sent His Son Jesus to die for your sins and rise again. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6). No church, work or ritual can save you—only faith in Christ.

What Is the Salvation Experience?

Salvation is received by personally believing on Jesus Christ and calling on His name. In Acts 16:30‑31 Paul told the Philippian jailor, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved.” Romans 10:9‑10 says that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Repent of your sins, trust Christ’s finished work on the cross, and call upon Him today.
